We too found the people here extraordinarily friendly. And wall to wall sunshine on our week here – what more could one ask for. Michael & Jane Gillan ( March 2009 )
Enjoyed Casa Isabella. Cosy, comfortable and generally exceptionally quiet. Locals friendly and helpful – enjoyed the feel of waking in the village. Enjoyed 3 wonderful walks , A day in Ronda and a day in Antequera & El Torcal in Antequera both worth while and most interesting. But always nice to come back to Sherry & wine in the courtyard. A Lovely relaxing week. Jenny & Tony Sandilands Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland (September 2009 )
What a joy to be in this beautiful part of Spain. The house is delightful and we have particularly enjoyed the courtyard and the company of the Gecko and Swallows! The village folk have been friendly and helpful to the English strangers. The whole experience has a been a wonderful gift to us, we came stressed and weary and return home refreshed and inspired. Thank – You. ( The Hudsons, Swanley , Kent . June 2008. ) We have had a superb holiday , walking in the surrounding countryside in beautiful sunshine. The bird watching has been wonderful, scores of Griffon vultures at the lakes, Crested tits, Buntings, Evossbill ( we think ), birds of prey and many more. The trip to Ronda is well advised as is the journey to Granada and the Alhambra – beautiful. Village and villagers delightful, good wine and food. ( Sue Williams & Peter Churcher, North Devon, October 2008. )
We had a fantastic stay in your beautiful home. Explored the lakes, Marbella and Ronda. We loved the local pool and the friendly locals, and recommend the food in the local tapas bars. Five star. Kara,Amy,Kirsty& Viemie. July 2007 (Bristol & London) A lovely start to our honeymoon in this lovely little home. We enjoyed swims and walks to the pools by the river, a mountain climb, many beers and olives at the local bar.A trip to Ronda well worth the visit and after all of these the beautiful Casa Isabella to come home to. Thank you !!. Jonathan & Tonia Smith. September 2007 (Evesham )
Have enjoyed our holiday very much in your lovely house. We have gone back to England with our batteries fully recharged. Thank you very much.
Casa Isabella like its name is enchanting. A touch of old Spain, solitude and glorious oodles of Rioja. A delightful hideaway in a lovely part of Andalucia. Some superb walks in the Mountains. El Burgo is quite charming and gives one a real ‘Feel’ for rural Spain.
